Emergency School Closures

In the event of an emergency closure (e.g. bad weather overnight) all parents registered for School Comms will receive a text message as soon as the decision to close is made.

The school website and the Warwickshire County Council website and X account will also display details of the closure.

Regular updates will be given on the following local radio stations:

BBC Coventry & Warwickshire 94.8FM, 103.7 FM, 104 FM

Heart FM 100.7 FM

If the school closes due to poor weather conditions, work will be posted on Google Classrooms for years 7, 8 and 9. Where possible, live lessons will take place via Google Meet for years 10 and 11. Please be mindful that staff who have young families, or older relatives to care for may not be able to teach live via Google Meet. In these circumstances, work will be posted on Google Classroom for years 10 and 11.
